Double-X 135/36

A motion picture black-and-white ASA 250 (daylight) or 200 (tungsten) film. Used in famous films such as Schindler’s List, The Lighthouse, and James Bond: Casino Royale. Same film as Cinestill BWxx, and can be developed like any other BW film.

Double-X is known for it’s defined grain and contrast. This stock allows push development of at least 2 stops (ASA 1000), but further pushing is possible. Loss of detail in shadows is most pronounced when Double-X is pushed to ASA 1000 or higher.

Grainy, contrasty, and easy to push process.
